Sports is fast becoming one of the top world-unifiers and the electric feeling of every stadium and field when there’s a game tells the story of the influence sports has on every fan.
It is not just a game, it is an ideology. A way of living, it is the chance to be a part of something bigger than yourself. Whether it be soccer, American football, basketball, golf, hockey, or sprints.
The unifying factor is one that is undeniable.
Beyond all these, sports is also a great teacher as every country in the world has their own specific sport that they use to express themselves.
It is like a language that they speak and hope to be understood.
For instance, India’s predominant sport is Cricket. Brazil has soccer, Argentina has Pato.
The Bahamas, Sloop Sailing and Canada has both Lacrosse and Hockey, depending on the season of the year.
These sports are big in Canada and touches every single Canadian in a way the rest of the world may probably not understand.
